About Cyber-Ark
Cyber-Ark Software is harnessing the power of Vaulting Technology to provide solutions for securing and managing highly-sensitive information. These solutions create safe havens that allow enterprises to secure, manage and share information both over the Internet between discrete enterprises or within a single network to manage highly-sensitive information.
Today's enterprises encounter daily examples of why securing the entire network is an impossible task. An enterprise network is inherently very complex and includes a myriad of devices, platforms, applications and operating systems. Accordingly, they face a long list of potential security risks within the network. Most security solutions today are focused on solving discrete security problems across the perimeter of the network. Point products such as Firewalls, VPN's, and Intrusion Detection solutions are examples of this approach to network security.
Cyber-Ark's Enterprise Password Vault enables organisations to secure, manage, automatically change and log all activities associated with all types of Privileged Passwords such as administrator on a Windows server, Root on a UNIX server, Cisco Enable on a Cisco device, as well as embedded passwords found in applications and scripts.
Cyber-Ark's Inter-Business Vault creates an "external" Safe Haven that can be shared between discrete enterprises over the Internet, while the Network Vault is used within the corporate boundaries to "Vault" Critical information. Both products provide unparalleled level of security, performance, and auditing.
What is a Digital Vault?
A digital vault secures data from end-to-end with multiple layers of security, including Encryption (while in transit and at rest), Firewall, Authentication, Access Control, and Auditing.
Cyber-Ark's approach is much like that of a physical vault at a bank. We create an electronic vault, or safe haven, in the network. Regardless of the overall network or security surrounding it, the safe haven is extremely secure. At the same time, Cyber-Ark's unique approach makes this information more accessible-eliminating the traditional tradeoff between accessibility and security.
Today, many companies continue to pour millions of dollars into traditional perimeter security solutions with limited effect. Security breaches and their financial impact continue to rise. Statistically, over 70% of all these network breaches originate from within. Instead of trying to protect every facet of an enterprise network, Cyber-Ark's vaulting solutions create safe havens-distinct areas for storing, protecting and sharing the most critical business information. Cyber-Ark's solution provides everything needed to protect and share information across the extended enterprise.
Cyber-Ark Products
Sensitive Document Vault is a feature-rich secure repository and sharing platform for securing, storing and managing your organisation's most highly senstive information. Sensitive Document Vault places your most important files into discrete vaults that can be viewed via a web-enables interface. With more than ten layers of security working together, these Digital Vaults create an impenetrable electronic vault, or safe haven, in a network.
The Inter-Business Vault enables the creation of secure instant wide area networks (WANs) for connecting enterprises with partners, customers and sub-contractors over the Internet - enabling them to exchange information as if they have deployed a shared WAN, but without actually doing so.
Cyber-Ark's Enterprise Password Vault enables organizations to secure, manage, automatically change and log all activities associated with all types of Privileged Passwords such as administrator on a Windows server, Root on a UNIX server, Cisco Enable on a Cisco device, as well as embedded passwords found in applications and scripts.
